Demanding that their resignations be accepted immediately by the Speaker, TDP rebel MLAs Mr Nagam Janardhan reddy, Hariswara reddy and Jogu Ramanna today resorted to a sit-in in the Chambers of the Deputy Speaker Mr Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka in the assembly.

It might be recalled that the three of them quit the TDP recently but even earlier they had resigned their assembly memberships and submitted the quit letters to the Speaker. However, the Speaker has not taken any decision on their resignations till date.

Meanwhile, TRS affiliated teachers created ruckus during the speech of TDP MLA Ms. Uma Madhava Reddy at a public meeting organized by the JAC of Telangana teachers at Bibinagar in Nalgonda district this afternoon.

Some of the teachers objected to her speech and asked her to ensure that her resignation is accepted by the Speaker immediately. The MLA’s supporters fiercely argued with the teachers and questioned their moves in obstructing her speech. When the situation was about to go out of control, police stepped in and restored peace.
