TRS leader Mr Harish Rao today warned the Government against trying to sabotage the rail blockade programme proposed on Oct 9, 10 and 11 by the Telangana political JAC as part of the on-going T agitation and mass general strike.
Addressing media persons in Hyderabad, Harish Rao said that the rail blockade programme would be strictly adhered to across Telangana with more enthusiasm and vigour by all Telangana people and there is no question of the program being withdrawn.
“This time, more and more people, especially women and children, will participate in the rail blockade programme and if the Government tries to disrupt the programme with its police force, it will face serious consequences,” warned Harish Rao.
Observing they would take up a jail bharo programme if the police try to arrest the activists and the leaders, Mr Harish Rao said that the rail roko agitation will have a five stage activity this time and appealed to Telangana people to make it highly successful.
The T activists will bring bullock carts on to the railway tracks and women will take an active part in the programme, he said, adding that incidents of NH No. 9 would be repeated on the railway tracks if the government tries to suppress the rail roko.
