Media circles are agog with rumours that Telangana congress leader and former minister Mr Jupally Krishna Rao may join the TRS along with a congress party MP from his native district of Mahaboobnagar.
Mr Krishna Rao has been one of the vocal supporters of TRS, the main protagonist of the separate Telangana state. Unlike other ministers who have resigned but attended cabinet meetings at the camp office of Chief Minister Kirankumar reddy, Krishna Rao never attended any official duties after quitting his ministerial berth some months ago for the sake of Telangana.
Mr Krishna Rao is likely to quit the congress party on Oct 30 and participate in the 3-day fast to be taken up by the TRS MLAs at Indira Park in Hyderabad from Nov 1, according to media reports.
The reports said he may join the TRS on Nov 4 after completing the fast along with the party MLAs. Mr Krishna Rao has already met the TRS chief Mr KCR on his joining the party.
