CBI probe can’t harm Chandrababu: Nagam

TDP chief Mr Chandrababu Naidu today got support from the most unexpected quarters on the issue of CBI investigation into his properties.

While all political opponents like PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana and YSR Congress leaders Konda Surekha, Gattu Ramachandra rao and Ambati Rambabu dared him to face the CBI investigation, former TDP leader and a regular Naidu bête noir Mr Nagam Janardhan reddy reacted saying that no harm would be done to the former chief minister through the preliminary investigation.

Speaking to media persons in Hyderabad, Janardhan reddy said that the petition filed by YSR Congress MLA Vijayamma was politically motivated and would not cause any harm to Chandrababu.

“Chandrababu has already declared his assets and the petitioner should have submitted additional documents to prove he has committed illegalities,” said Janardhan reddy.

Nagam’s support to Chandrababu is being interpreted in some quarters that he may soon close his Telangana Nagara Samithi shop and may come back to the TDP fold.

Speaker accepted resignation out of fear

Nagam said Speaker Nadendla Manohar has accepted his resignation out of fear of being criticised by the high court as he has filed a petition. “My resignation was accepted by the Speaker on the same day I went to the high court questioning his inaction,” said Nagam.
