Bramhotsavam begins Tuesday at Adhisilaksetram in Mahboobnagar district

Adhisilakshetram in Maldakal, Mahboobnagar District is the famous temple for Lord Sri Venkateswara. The brahmotsavam celebrations on the lines of Tirumala are to commence today at 10 am and the celebrations are to stretch for a fortnight as customary. The celebrations are a jubilant affair in the temple which shall be visited by one lakh devotees during these days.
The Temple EO Purandharakumar made this announcement to the media and further went on to say that there is a list of VVIPs who shall visit this temple during this period. Among the prominent are District Minister D. K. Aruna, Collector Purushottama Reddy, Mantralaya peetadhipati Sri Vidyendra Sripadula, Udupi seer Sri Vidhyadisa Theerdha Sripadula, APTA secretary Rajagopalachary, Cine Singer S.P. Balasubramaniam and artiste Tanikelle Bharani.
The celebrations shall commence from 10 am today with the Mantralayam Seer doing the first puja. The prominent events in the celebrations include on December 08, with Swamivari Kalyanam at 11pm, December 09 with Theppotsavam at 5pm and shall conclude with the Radhotsavam on December 10th midnight.
