LP seeks to implead in Vijayamma petition

NTR TDP president Ms. Lakshmi Parvathy filed a petition in the AP High Court today seeking to implead her as a co-petitioner in the PIL filed by the Pulivendula YSR Congress MLA Ms YS Vijayamma seeking CBI investigation into the alleged illegal properties of former chief minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.

She also filed a supplementary petition seeking to revoke the stay orders issued on the petition filed by her in the special ACB court of Hyderabad seeking investigation into the properties of Naidu.

She said that she had filed her petition in the ACB court as far back as 2005 but the investigation was stayed by the High Court earlier. She also said that she first approached the ACB officials but she was forced to approach the ACB court as the ACB officials kept the file pending.

She repeated her allegation that Chandrababu earned huge properties illegally with in a short period of entering into politics and said her petition in the ACB court was still pending.

“I don’t have any faith in the state agencies and I request you to implead me also in the PIL filed by Vijayamma against Chandrababu,” she urged the court in her petition. (JUBS)
