2 Ayyappa devotees, belonging to VR Puram of Khammam district, were killed and 10 others seriously injured in a road accident in Tamil Nadu.
The Ayyappa devotees, left for Sabarimala from VR Puram in a Tata Sumo vehicle on Thursday and reached Tamil Nadu –Keral border today.
Reports said the devotees’ vehicle was involved in a head-on collision while negotiating a curve on the highway. Of the two killed, one person was identified as Sundaram and the other as driver of the vehicle. (JUBS)
