The state Congress President Botsa Satyanaraya is to leave for Delhi, today, to discuss the issues in the state post no-confidence motion on the `Kiran Sarkar.’ The main topic of the discussions would be about the 16 Congress MLAs who had voted for the motion. Inspite of discussions with the high command by the Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy, Mr.Botsa wanted to seek the audience of the high command to discuss the issue, with regarding to party approach. Much would depend on his discussions with the high command about the future course of action on the dissent members.
According to sources, the central leadership gave its nod after the CM called on party president Sonia Gandhi and other central leaders, last week, in New Delhi and briefed them about the political situation in the state. The CM is likely to make a formal announcement shortly. Though the `KIran Sarkar’ defeated the no-confidence motion with the help of Praja Rajyam Party (PRP) and Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM). As many as 16 legislators loyal to YSR Congress party Chief Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy voted for the no-confidence motion moved by the opposition Telugu Desam Party while another legislator abstained. On these dissent members the ruling Congress wanted to take severs action.
