After Chinna Jeeyar Swami, it is now the turn of Swami Paripurnananda, Sri Peetham seer of Kakinada, to point fingers at the TTD Administration.

Delivering a discourse in Visakhapatnam, Swami Paripurnananda called upon the people to strive for the protection of the Tirumala temple’s sanctity. It might be mentioned that Chinna Jeeyar Swami had lambasted the TTD a few days ago saying that the atmosphere on the Tirumala hills has turned into that of a club.

The Jeeyar Swami also warned the TTD administration that non-spiritual activities have been on the rise on the Tirumala hills in the recent past. “The Tirumala Hills are lacking in holy atmosphere,” he said.

Echoing the sentiments, Swami Paripurnananda said the TTD administration has been working on the lines of a marketing agency and devotees should take lead in protecting the holiness of the temple.

The Jeeyar has already called upon devotees to lead a procession to Tirumala on Feb 3 on account of Bheeshma Ekadasi to send a strong message to the TTD administration. (JUBS)
