MRPS decries attack on Sankara rao, plans rally

Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi (MRPS) president Manda Krishna Madiga said his organization would undertake a rally on Dec 27 protesting against the attack on Minister Sankara Rao at NTR Nagar near LB Nagar in Hyderabad a few days ago.

Alleging that Home Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy’s son was involved in the attack, Manda Krishna told journalists today that the police have not taken any action against the attackers till now.

“There is no doubt that Home Minister’s son is involved in the attack,” he said. Manda Krishna said his organization would take out the rally on Dec 27 from the residence of Minister Sankara Rao to the spot where attack was staged on the minister.

MRPS demonstrates against attack

Manda Krishna and several other leaders along with hundreds of MRPS activists earlier demonstrated at the Basheerbagh Chaurasta and tried to take out a ‘self respect rally’ but police arrested all the leaders and activists and shifted them to the police station.

“It is a shame on part of police that they have not yet arrested those who attacked Sankara rao but are trying to stop our peaceful rally and demonstration. (JUBS)
