Naidu bulldozes his way to Warangal farmers, sends jitters to TRS

TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu, who dared the onslaught of stones, chappals and eggs hurled by the TRS and JAC activists at his convoy during his journey to the Warangal district today, was in the finest of his elements during the Rytu Poru Bata as he met hundreds of farmers in several villages and listened to their vows.
Undeterred by the TRS attacks and curses, Naidu announced that he would personally lead the TDP’s campaign during the forthcoming by-polls and said he would put up candidates in all the six constituencies going to the by-polls.
Making his foray into the hotbed of the Telangana agitation and leading his Padayatra, Naidu mingled with farmers freely and spoke to them on their problems. Complaining about the lack of a reasonable MSP (Minimum Support Price) for their agricultural produce, the farmers at some places expressed their wish that he should become the Chief Minister again. “We are looking forward to seeing as CM again,” they told him raising the spirits of Naidu.
“I am coming to talk to you to know your problems but they have been trying to block my way to you in the name of Telangana,” Naidu told them, adding, that he was not against Telangana formation.
He promised to visit all Telangana districts in the near future to meet farmers and interact with them and said no one could dare to stop his Rytu Poru Bata in Telangana. (JUBS)
