TRS leader Harish Rao today described as fake the Rytu Poru Bata undertaken by the TDP president Chandrababu Naidu last week in the Warangal district and the 48-hour fast of the YSR Congress president YS Jaganmohan reddy in the Armur town in Nizamabad.
Addressing media persons at his residence in Siddipet this evening, he said both Chandrababu and Jagan have not questioned the government’s partialities towards the farmers in the Telangana area.
“The government has given not only the input subsidy but freely supplied seeds and fertilizers to the Seema Andhra farmers who have declared crop holiday where as the farmers in the Telangana area are made to satisfy with input subsidy only,” he said, adding, both Naidu and Jagan should question the government on the partialities towards the Telangana farmers.
Harish Rao also alleged that power cuts are more frequent in Telangana villages compared to those in the Andhra area. “When you are not questioning the government’s partialities, where is the genuine concern in your Rytu Poru Bata and hunger strike?” he questioned Naidu and Jagan.
The TRS leader said Naidu and Jagan are cheating the Telangana people in the name of fasting programmes and Yatras and blamed them for delay in Centre’s decision on Telangana.
“We continue to question the activities of the TDP, YSR Congress party and even the congress till they make their stand on Telangana very clear,” warned Harish Rao. (JUBS)
