The CBI special court at Nampally in Hyderabad today extended till Jan 16 the CBI custody of auditor Mr Vijay Sai Reddy, accused number 2 in the illegal properties case involving the YSR Congress party president Mr YS Jaganmohan reddy.
The court ordered the CBI officials to produce Vijay Sai before it on Jan 17 and grill him for information from 10 am to 5 pm daily as is being done presently.
The CBI court also ordered the jail officials to provide a special cell to Vijay Sai in the Chanchalguda jail.
Vijay Sai is Man Friday of Jagan and is also vice president of the Jagathi Publications, the publishers of the Telugu daily Sakshi.
The CBI had arrested him for his involvement in manipulating huge bribes as investments into Jagan-owned companies. The CBI also alleged that Vijay Sai was responsible for the floating of several hoax companies in Mumbai, Kolkata, Ranchi and some other cities through which illegal funds had flowed into Jagan companies.
