Guv inaugurates Duggirala school centenary fete

Governor ESL Narasimhan inaugurated the centenary celebrations of the ZP High School in Duggirala of Guntur district today.

Unveiling the centenary celebrations’ memorial in the school premises, the Governor wished the products of the school to reach new scales in their professions and careers.

“You should bring due recognition to your tiny town and to your district by scaling new heights in what you do in your lives,” he wished the students. The ex-students, local people and senior district officials participated in the programme along with the students and the villagers.

Earlier, several MLAs and senior officials of the district welcomed the Governor and his wife when the Spice Jet flight carrying them landed at the Gannavaram airport.

The VVIP couple then left for Mangalagiri where they had visited the Narasimha Swamy temple and sought the blessings of the Mangalagiri Panakalaswami. From there, the Governor left for Duggirala town. (JUBS)
