Senior IAS officer Ms. Ratna Prabha was grilled by the CBI in connection with the illegal properties case involving the YSR Congress president Mr YS Jaganmohan Reddy.

Ratna Prabha, who belonged to the Karnataka cadre, worked as the Secretary of the IT department and Urban Land Ceiling Commissioner in the past during the YSR regime.

She was called to the make shift office of the CBI at the Dilkusha Guest House in Hyderabad. The officials quizzed her for the details on several GOs issued during her tenure as Urban Land Ceiling Commissioner and IT Secretary.

It is however not clear whether the CBI had questioned her as a witness or an accused in the case filed against Jagan for possessing huge illegal properties.

Meanwhile, the CBI officials quizzed the former Chief Secretary Mr Ramakantha Reddy on Friday for the second time. He was first questioned on Thursday for more than six hours.
