Chief Minister Kirankumar reddy today expanded his cabinet by inducting three new ministers. Uttamkumar reddy from Huzurabad in Nalgonda district, Mr Prasad kumar of Vikarabad in Rangareddy district and Mr Kondru Murali from Rajam in Srikakulam district have taken oath as ministers at a simple ceremony at Raj Bhavan this evening.
Governor ESL Narasimhan administered the oath of office and secrecy to the new ministers in the presence of Kirankumar reddy, Speaker Nadendla Manohar, Legislative Council Chairman Mr Chakrapani, PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana, Tirupati MLA Mr Chiranjeevi and some ministers.
While Prasada Rao and Kondru Murali took the oath in the name of God in Telugu, Uttamkumar took the oath in English.
The AP council of ministers can have a maximum of 44 ministers and its present strength has gone up to 41 with today’s expansion. (JUBS)
