A24-year old woman software engineer died in mysterious circumstances in her hostel room in Bangalore on Sunday.

Naga Rani, hailing from Padmarao Nagar in Hyderabad, has been working in a software company for the last four months in Bangalore. Police said Nagarani chatted with her friends and also had breakfast together with them at her hostel at JB Nagar Sunday morning.

“She told her friends around 11 am she would meet them for lunch in the afternoon but she never turned up. Her friends waited till 2 PM and informed the hostel manager,” police said, adding when the hostel staff broke open the door, she was found dead in side the room.

On hearing the news, policed arrived and took her to a nearby hospital where doctors declared her brought dead. Police have registered a case of mysterious death and are investigating. (JUBS)
