2 persons of a marriage party were killed and 25 others injured when a van carrying them turned turtle at Dhulipalli village in Bukkapatnam Mandalam of Ananthapuram district today.

Reports said the accident occurred when the driver of the van lost control while negotiating a curve near the village during their return journey to Dhulipalli after attending a marriage at Ullikallu in Singanamala Mandalam in the morning.

The injured were admitted to Kadiri hospitals and the condition of four of them is stated to be serious.
