Nagarjuna rules out entry into politics

Tollywood top hero Nagarjuna ruled out his entry into direct politics and said he would be generally interested in keeping himself abreast of latest political developments.

Speaking to journalists after inaugurating the Kalyan Jewelry showroom in Tirupati this morning, Nagarjuna said he would read newspapers daily and learn about the developments taking place in the political sphere like any other person.

“I like politics and try to know the developments daily through the media,” he said. “But I don’t know whether or not I would be fit for politics,” Nag said simply laughing it off. When asked further about his entry into politics, the actor ruled out his entry into direct politics.

Nagarjuna said he somehow developed liking towards acting in devotional and spiritual-oriented movies and would continue to act in such movies in future. “I am shooting for the ‘Shiridi Sai Baba’ movie with utmost spirituality and devotion,” he said, adding his next movie ‘Dhamarukam’ is almost ready for release.

Asked about his youngest son Akhil’s entry into films, Nagarjuna replied with a cryptic ‘it is up to him to decide.’ (JUBS)
