23 students were injured, some of them seriously, when a schools bus turned upside down in Chittor district this morning.

The bus, belonging to the Vikasa School of B.N.Kandriga, was on its way to Sri Kalahasti temple. The temple authorities have performed Maha Saraswathi Yagam today and the school management wanted the students to attend the programme.

Police said all the inured were admitted to the hospitals in Tirupati and the condition of seven students was serious. (J)
