TDP leaders have alleged that YSR Congress party president YS Jaganmohan Reddy-who is accused number one in disproportionate case-was not being arrested by the CBI upon the instructions given by the UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi. The leaders—Gali Muddukrishnama Naidu and Bojjala Gopalakrishna who have held a press conference in Hyderabad on Wednesday alleged that the case against Jagan became weak after the YSRCP chief declared that his party would extend its support to the United Progressive Alliance (UPA).
The leaders have said that even after courts questioning as to why the accused number one in the case was not arrested, the CBI officials were not arresting YS Jaganmohan Reddy.
Further, the TDP leaders have also said that AICC president Sonia Gandhi has alleged links with almost all scandals that took place in the country right from bofors scandal. They took on late YS Rajashekara Reddy alleging that YSR laid foundation to criminal politics in the state.
The Congress party is yet to comment or come down on these statements. (Phani)
