The Congress party in the state has observed the 21st death anniversary of late prime minister Rajiv Gandhi at the party office-Gandhi Bhavan in Hyderabad on Monday. The chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy, PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana, KK, V Hanumantha Rao and other key Congress leaders from the state paid homage to Rajiv Gandhi.
In Delhi, prime minister Manmohan Singh, AICC president Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka offered flowers at Veer Bhumi, the memorial of Rajiv Gandhi in Delhi. Scores of students who were present when the prime minister paid tributes waved tri-colour flags. (Phani)
