Firing in Jagan's home turf

The incarcerated YSR Congress Leader Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy should have been disturbed to know that his cadre was kept away from campaigning, at Rayachoti in Kadapa. However a detailed report is yet to arrive in this regards. As of now the YSRC members allege that the TDP members have kept them from campaigning. A verbal duel between the two parties ended up into a riot. The two parties were supposedly restoring to violence. Timely intervention by the police to clear the mobs resulted in the police firing empty shots into air. This prompt action of the police at the scene brought the town in control.

As of now not many injuries have been reported. The 39-year-old Kadapa MP started the YSRC in the memory of his father who died in an air crash in 2009. The by-polls to the eighteen constituencies majorly resulted as the Congress loyalists shifted to YSR Congress. The young leader was remanded to judicial custody in the disproportionate assets case. His mother Y S Vijayamma has taken up the party mantle to campaign for the by-polls along with his sister Sharmila. (With Inputs from Internet- Aarkay)
