Woman telegrams police about her suicide

The harassments of financiers in Andhra Pradesh have apparently become common matters.  In a fresh incident, a married woman in Anakapalli village gave a telegram to the Anakapalli police stating that she would be committing suicide since she had been harassed by as many as six financiers. The complainant, Radha took a giant step by sending a telegram to the police. She along with the six financiers were taken to the police station where the inquiry was underway.

Earlier, so many people complained of financial harassments. In fact, there are many people in the state  who allegedly give money for interest rates of 30 to 40 per cent too. For a single day, the the lenders would apparently charge over fifty rupees per one thousand calling it as daily finance. Such illegal financiers would still be on a safe land despite doing illegal business--reason being simple that such lenders often take a blank cheques from the borrowers and when the borrowers deny to pay such hefty interests, they would threaten to bounce the cheques.

Also, reports indicated that even common people are acting like mediators and getting money for one-two rupee interest and charging six to seven rupee interests to the actual borrowers thereby looting the public. It is the duty of the government to look into such issues promptly and put a check to the same.  Looting the public in the name of hefty interests by private financiers and unauthorized chit fund operators is one of the major challenges being faced by Andhra Pradesh.
