The meteorological department in Vishakapatnam has said that south west monsoon is likely to enter Andhra Pradesh in another 48 hours. The officials have predicted that monsoon might first enter Rayalaseema and coastal Andhra regions before spreading to the other parts of the state. The department has also predicted a good rainfall in next two days due to thick cumonolimbus clouds.

All in all, people in AP  who had been suffering due to high mercury levels are eagerly awaiting monsoon. Nonetheless, the mercury level on Saturday was low in many parts of the state.
