Another ghory incident of dowry came to light in Andhra Pradesh. A man allegedly forced wife to drink acid as she was unable to fulfill his dowry thirst. This incident, which took place in Gnanapur of Vishakapatnam district, has sent shockwaves among the people. The victim has been rushed to the hospital. The situation of the victim was said to be critical. The police have registered the case and the investigation was on.

The victim's mother has alleged that her daughter had been subjected to ill treated by her husband in the name of dowry. Notably, she said her daughter's wedding was a love marriage. Dowry is worst of all evils. Kindly educate people that  dowry is not tradition but an evil.
