In continuation to the state's decision to give legal assistance to the Ministers who have received the notices from the Supreme court in the controversial 26 GOs case, PCC Chief Botsa  Satyanarayana said that the incarcerated former Minister Mopidevi would also be benefitted. On Sunday in Hyderabad Mr Botsa said that he would write to the Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, in this regards. The former Minister was arrested and stationed at the Chenchalguda Prison in one of the controversial GOs.

Mr Botsa said that the former Minister must also get the assistance like the other ministers who received the notices. The others are Sabitha Indra Reddy, Kanna Laxminarayana, Dharmana Prasada Rao and Dr J. Geeth Reddy.

Earlier the four ministers informed the government that they have received notices from the Supreme Court in a petition for Special Leave to Appeal (crl) No. 1609 of 2012 filed by one Ponnavolu Sudhakara Reddy, who alleged that 26 GOs were issued against the public interest and to benefit a few persons. The aggrieved ministers urged the government to issue appropriate orders to provide Legal Assistance and reimbursement of Legal charges paid by them in the case. And the government took a decision favouring them on Saturday.(With inputs from internet- AW AarKay)
