The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) takes credit for BC Declaration. The TDP Supremo N Chandrababu Naidu said that, other parties have followed the party's (TDP) stand on power to BC's. He said, on July 06 TDP had announced the policy for BC’s that would be strictly adhered by the party. Mr Babu claimed that his party vouched for the upliftment of BCs, while others followed. He also ascertained that those BC leaders who do not win the elections, will be nominated for posts when the TDP comes to power. This will be one of the ways to honour them, said Mr Babu while addressing the BC leaders at NTR Bhavan in Hyderabad, today.
Several BC leaders from the state visited the NTR Bhavan to felicitate Mr Babu over his path-breaking decision. They appreciated his sincerity for BC welfare and announced that they were behind his abled leadership.
BC leaders from Warangal district, who met Mr Babu, said the TDP chief took a historical decision of fielding BCs in 100 assembly constituencies in the coming elections. His announcement to allocate when the party comes to power, Rs 10,000 Cr in the budget for BC welfare in the state, was also well appreciated. (With inputs from internet- AW AarKay)
