The Pavithrothsavams in Tirumala, which have started three days ago, have concluded on Tuesday with Purnahuthi. On the concluding day of these rituals, homas were conducted in the early hours. Later abhishekam was performed on utsav deities. In the evening, the deities were taken out for a procession followed by purnahuthi. Notably, sea of devotees took part in the rituals on the final day. It may be noted that all arjitha sevas and VIP darshan (visit) were closed on Tuesday in the wake of Pavithrotsavams.
The TTD officials have told Andhra Wishesh that the annual Brahmotsavams at Tirumala will be conducted from September 18 to September 26. The navratri celebrations would be conducted from October 15 to October 23.
