The forensic experts have arrived in Nellore on Wednesday to find out clues that led to fire mishap on Tamil Nadu Express 48 hours ago. The sources said that the experts were even carefully studying the versions of the passengers who survived the fire mishap. It is known that at least 28 passengers charred to death on train when S11 coach caught fire in the wee hours.
The preliminary reports of the officials stated that the mishap occurred due to short circuit but one of the passengers said he could see lights on after massive fire caught and engulfed the bogey. Also, some of the passengers apparently said a group of youngsters were present on the coach without any luggage and that apparently gave raise to many suspicions. Meanwhile, railway minister Mukul Roy said he got information from the divisional railway manager that there was a blast on the train and he could not rule out anything. He has also said that some of the passengers who had a narrow escape complained of loud noise when the accident occurred.
