Tuesday Morning Wishesh

Good Morning, Namoshkar, Adab!

Its a bright Tuesday morning at Hyderabad today, inspite of the weather report being less or no showers, the climate is pretty romantic. As the nation is getting geared up for the Vice President elections scheduled for the day. And in sports Boxer Mary Kom storms in to semis. Andhra Wishesh is once again rounding up the titbits from all corners of the state for your quick scan. This new initiative needs your thumps-up for updating the design. Your suggestions are most valuable for our improvements.

Tirupati:Devotees rush continues at the Lord of Seven Hills Shri Venkateswara's shrine. However not as much as witnessed since the last three to four days. Sources say that nearly 10 waiting halls have been filled and the Darshan might take nearly 10+ hours. For stats on  Monday, 79,475  number of devotees had the Lord's darshan.

Hyderabad: One more window has to be sought by the land beneficiaries of the state in case they wish to sell their lands. Freedom fighters or veterans who have been gifted land by the government, need now to get an NOC from the specified Revenue department to sell lands. While this will see that many will not be forced to sell the land from evil miscreants as in the past, the rule has its own misgivings. Public feel that this will be another cumbersome procedure added, while becoming expensive too!

Vijayawada: Train services between Kazipet and Vijayawada have been disrupted. The reason being due to monsoons an age old huge tree has fallen on the electric lines disrupting power in the division at Dornakal station. Trouble shooting is being underway on a war-footing and the services will be normalized in some time.

Srikakulam: Train services disrupted near Srikakulam. All trains approaching the station are kept at safe distance due to a fire accident. A stationed railway wagon carrying coal loads caught fire and fire personnel are in action and the services will be normalized in some time.

Fee reimbursement row: ABVP students union plans to protest at all the district head quarters of the state on fee issues. They would like to protest against the way the state government has been handling the fee reimbursement issue.
