YSRC leader Ambati Rambabu has demanded Jaipal Reddy to step down from the petroleum minister post. He questioned as to what Jaipal Reddy was doing when gas was allegedly being transferred to Maharashtra. He has said that Jaipal should owe the responsibility and resign for his post. He said Jaipal Reddy was not only answerable to Telugu people but people of the nation.
Ambati has said the state government should bend down its head in shame. Talking on fee reimbursement issue, Ambati Rambabu said the government should not make any changes to fee reimbursement. He said YSRC would call for a movement in case government doesn't follow the current reimbursement method.
While Ambati asked Jaipal Reddy to resign, the political observers held the current chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy responsible over the allocation of gas to Maharashtra. They said Congress high command was closely observing the issue and it might soon change Kiran Kumar Reddy and make Chiranjeevi the chief minister for a better governance and also to put a check to YSRC.
