Babu gets sour taste of politicking

The leader of the opposition N Chandrababu Naidu had a bad taste at his Guntur meeting, today, when even water became scarce. This left a sour tinge on the party activists. Mr Babu slammed the persons behind the protest.  He also said that Nizampatinam was not Pulivendla and people planning such tricks will be given a perfect retort by the public. Incidentally the TDP Chief was to address a rally in the village which was the home constituency of incarcerated former Minister Mopidevi Venkataramana.

Mr Babu asked that, is it right to close even the petty shops just because he was to address a meet there. He also warned that he would like to play decent politics but if the opponents were planning dirty, he would give them a befitting reply. The attendees of the meet had a tough time with scarce water, as all shops were closed.

Mr Babu also said that the TDP was not against development but will not tolerate if usurping was the main target behind development. He also questioned the allotment of 29,000 acres of land for the controversial Vanpic project. He also questioned that will the Chief Minister  stay on the side of the poor or the mighty industrialists who had funded the projects.  (With inputs from internet-AW AarKay)
