Shravana masam rituals at Srisailam conclude

Shravana masam rituals at the famous Srisailam temple have concluded on Friday. The sources said that at least eight lakh devotees flocked Sri Bramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy temple in 30 days from July 20. Reportedly, maximum number of devotees who visited the temple were from Maharashtra and Srisailam. It has to be mentioned here that in Sravana masam (which is considered to be an auspicious month), thousands of people seek the blessings of Goddess and Lord Shiva.

For 30 days, day and night, devotees took part in non-stop bhajan on the temple premises. A mass Varalakshmi Wratham was also conducted on the second Friday of Shravan masam. Keeping in view the rush, the temple authorities made necessary arrangements and they reportedly expressed that no inconvenience was caused to devotees in the past 30 days.
