Elaborate arrangements are being made at Tirumala in view of Garuda Seva, which will be held for the first time as grandly as the annual Brahmotsavams on August 31. The Tirumala Tirupati Devastanams (TTD) has decided to hold these rituals in order to record the response from the devotees. Right from bhajan venues to other venues, all places were decked up for various traditional rituals. The sources said tight security has been beefed up to ensure that everything goes normal. Even scores of vedic students would take part wherein they would encircle the devotees to ensure special protection.
The Pournami Garudaseva would take place between 7 pm and 9 pm. Based on the response from devotees, the officials will check the security and any other special arrangements that should be taken that devotees would be comfortable during annual Brahmotsavams.
