TDP leaders Devineni Uma has taken on late chief minister YS Rajashekara Reddy yet another time. He has alleged that late YSR has done injustice to Krishna delta. YSR indulged in irregularities in Pothireddypadu head regulatory in the pretext of Jalayagnam, said Devineni Uma. He even alleged that YSR allegedly diverted  Krishna delta water to Pulivendula in the name of modification of Pothireddypadu project. To make a point, Devineni Uma has stressed that TDP earlier remanded (during YSR regime) that the act of then government would cause damage to delta. He has also questioned the government as to why it hasn't  filed a counter for getting water released to Krishna delta. He has also made it  clear the TDP would intensify agitation until it the demands on water are accepted by the government.

The political observers were confused with the TDP's fight. They said they were not sure whether TDP wanted to fight for a cause or fight towards cornering the ruling party. The observers were of the opinion that TDP was apparently confusing the public by fighting on several issues at a single time. It is known that TDP was fighting electricity issues in the same and at the same time talking on Krishna delta may not be appropriate at this time, added the observers.
