BJP senior leader Bandaru Dattatreya has said that they would stage Telangana Poru Deeksha on September 3,4 and 5 in Delhi. He told this to the media today in Hyderabad.  Further, he has said that BJP leader L K Advani would attend the protest on September 3 while another senior leader Sushma Swaraj would mark her attendance on the final day. He said BJP was staging this protest for exerting pressure on the centre for carving out Telangana state. Further, he demanded that an all party meet should be arranged to discuss electricity crisis in the state. He has also said that there was no response from the government on the private bill on Telangana, which was tabled in Rajya Sabha.

The political observers said that this protest would obviously exert pressure on the government given that BJP is the main opposition in the centre and central leaders LK Advani and Sushma Swaraj would take part in the protest. It looks like centre is in a fix on the issue. Will Congress immediately look into the issue in order to protect itself in Telangana region  has become a million dollar question.
