There is no better day than the birthday of the father of the nation, especially when we would like to awaken the people about the various impending issues, says the main opposition of the state, Telugu Desam Party. Addressing a press conference at the NTR Trust Bhavan, the TDP supremo  N Chandrababu Naidu, expressed that the ruling UPA government led by the Congress party was anti people.

He said that the drastic hike in diesel would only benefit the state government by another Rs 800 Cr. On the other hand the state run RTC unable to bear the financial crunch has handed over the burden to the public by hiking the fares. And now the common man is in for more problems.

He also blamed the state over the inordinate power cuts, which has ruined the state public in all ways. One is the industry is sure to record the lowest output with erratic power supply. Next the worst hit is the farmer, since villages are pruned to 15 hours cut in a day.

Speaking on the FDI in Retail, he said that the policy is to ruin the farmer further. And he added that the way Walmart functions in the US is already under controversies. Under such circumstances how could they be invited into the country. Their welcome is only shunning the doors on our local entrepreneurs.
