CPM state secretary BV Raghavulu-who supported the unified state of Andhra Pradesh-has said that it was unfair to deny permission for Telangana march by citing law and order problem. He has also said that the leaders of the Joint Action Committee have the right to stage protests on Telangana issue. Further, he said Congress party was trying to escape from the issue by mentioning consensus term. TDP and YSRC must come out with clear stand on Telangana, he added.
Talking on YSRC, he said it was not proper on the party to maintain silence on Telangana issue. Also, he said Chandrababu's letter to the Centre would mount pressure on the Congress party. He advised the TDP to have a clarity on Telangana issue when the centre conveys all party meet. The observers said that Raghavulu might draw criticism from Seemandhra leaders for supporting the proposed Sagaraharam on September 30.
