Ganesh Immersion means bidding adieu to Ganapati: Morning Wishesh

Ganesh-Chathurdi1Hi Good morning friends, I know most of you are yet not out of bed or sipping your morning Cuppa. As I was jogging down the city for a brief morning walk, I noticed a few things. Oh yeah today it a festive holiday across the city which has a bright hour this morning. I am right now on the terrace foreseeing the Tank bund, which will be the citadel for Ganesh Immersion, today in the afternoon. Owing to the hectic celebrations destined for the day the whole city has declared a holiday and hence all of us are enjoying this morning cuppa at home. And as I told you the government had taken up elaborate arrangements to help the processions move smoothly and rapidly.

Ganesh-Chathurdi2Most of the places at vantage points were erected with temporary podiums which will act as directing the routes and provide assistance. Then almost all police shelters were being dumped with water sachets bags to supply free water. The third one that made me amused was, at nearly two or three places huge temporary kitchens were erected. All this for the easy flow of the processions. Then the whole roads are infected with numerous security personnel and that too early in the morning, while we are still resting in our beds. Most times we keep nagging about the government in-capacities but on such occasions, they need a word of praise too. With that let's take a quick look at our daily news from Morning Wishesh.

Ganesh-Chathurdi3Thought for the day: From the holy Bible that says the hurdles are just passing clouds and the sunshine deep with in will be soon out fast. Do not worry.

How long wilt thou sleep, O sluggard? When wilt thou arise out of thy sleep?
Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep:

So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth, and thy want as an armed man. -Proverbs, 6. 9

Today's Specialty: Sipping your morning Coffee Cuppa, me to keep enjoying as today is our day, the International Coffee Day. This day was first proposed by the All Japan Coffee Association in 1983. It is today celebrated across the globe as a tribute to the wake up brew.

Ganesh-Chathurdi5Today is also World Heart's day. Good diet, good habits, controlled life, morning exercise keeps your heart healthy. To be happy means to be healthy. When wealth is lost something is lost but when health is lost everything is lost. Created by the World Heart Federation, since 2000, it aims to raise awareness for global heart health.

Ganesh-Chathurdi6History pecks for the day: Do you remember the T20 match last night between India and Australia! This was one night when I felt that the live TV brought in sorrow watching your national side perform miserably, ball by ball. Well that is off the records, but today way back in 1951, the first ever live sporting event was seen in the US. Though it was just a college foot ball game between University of Pittsburgh and the Duke on NBC, the viewers from coast to coast could cherish it. This day is solely responsible for our last disastrous night. Anyways, it happens!

Ganesh-Chathurdi7Today's Celebrity news: Our day's celebrity is Lord Ganesha who is going back home after sumptuously receiving our worships for the last ten days since September 19. bidding him adieu virtually means to his idols, but he shall always be with us and help us finish all good work with out any hindrance. Om Ganeshaya Namaha!

Ganesh-Chathurdi8Tirupati: Devotees surge rises slowly on the Temple hillock. As per morning reports nearly 21 compartments are filled and the minimum time to have a happy darshan would be 10 hours.
