TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu has paid rich tributes to the father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi on his birth anniversary today. Babu offered garland to the Gandhi statue at MG Road in Secunderabad this morning. Later, he arrived at the NTR Ghat along with his followers and paid tributes to late NTR, the founder of Telugu Desam Party after which he reached Shamshabad airport and left for Anantapur district.
It may be noted that Chandrababu's padayatra- Vastunna Meekosam-is all set to be kick started today from Hindupur of Anantapur district. The sources said that Chandrababu Naidu was taking out this yatra in order to instil confidence among the public that TDP can solve their problems. The political observers, on the other hand, opined that Babu might be facing some obstacles in Rayalaseema region as there has been a demand from Rayalaseema too for creating separate state of Rayalaseema.
