Scores of Telangana activists have barged into the office of director Puri Jagannadh and damaged furniture besides four cars at his office. The supporters of Telangana region were apparently irked with the national integration message given by director Puri Jagannadh in his movie Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu (CMGR), which has power star Pawan Kalyan in the lead role.
Although the movie was said to be a satire on politicians and the media (of course), it directly didn't take on the movement for statehood for Telangana. Earlier, OU students stalled the screening of CMGR at Aradhana Theatre in Tarnaka of Hyderabad.
Meanwhile, producer Dil Raju has said that he would once again watch this movie with activists and promised the activists that he can make director Puri Jagannadh apologize to the people of Telangana in case he finds anything objectionable. Dil Raju has, however, said that no scene in the movie was aimed at any movement.
