Tollywood actor Jagapati Babu  has met the accused in illegal assets case, Nimmagadda Prasad (alias Matrix Prasad) at Chanchalguda jail in Hyderabad today. He was accompanied by badminton coach Pullela Gopi Chand and Hyderabad Cricket Association representative Chamundeshwarinath. The sources have said that the trio spoke to Nimmagadda Prasad for more than an hour. Two sports personalities accompanying a cinema actor during his meeting with an accused is giving raise to many speculations. When the media enquired about the same, Jagapati Babu has said that Nimmagadda Prasad was his close friend and met him casually. Earlier, actor Nagarjuna too met Nimmagadda Prasad.

It may be noted that Nimmagadda Prasad was one of the business tycoons in the state who had good connections with film industry too. He was arrested by the CBI and was remanded to judicial custody by CBI Court in connection with illegal assets case.
