86 year old Balasaheb Thackeray has been tormented by grave respiratory problems and other age related problems since quite a while as he was repeatedly admitted in the hospital with oxygen support. However, recently, his condition deteriorated to be very critical that he had to remain on life-support.
The son of the Shiv Sena Supremo, Uddhav Thackeray, has been positively confident that his father would make it out of the crisis and regain normal health soon.
The working president of the party, Uddhav, said, "I have not lost hope. We are facing a crisis, we shall overcomeā, today morning as Bal Thackeray's condition remained critical.
Coming out of Matoshri for a few moments at the wee hours today, he talked to the party members and activists who gathered outside the residence in Bandra, in suburban Mumabi. He had urged them to remain calm while maintaining peace and hold up the image of Matoshri.
"The team of doctors is continuing their efforts....Balasaheb's self-determination is very strong... We are facing a crisis, we shall overcome," Uddhav said reassuring the supporters.
He continued to say that their leader was responding well to the treatments and asked them to pray to his health while cooperating to maintain peace.
