Shivsena supremo Bal Thackeray's final journey has begun. His deadbody was taken from his residence Matoshree to Shivaji House in Mumbai. Bala Saheb Thackeray's deadbody would be kept at Shivaji Park for peopel to have a final glimpse of the leader, who's no more. With the demise of Bal Thackeray entire Mumbai City got paralyzed. The traffic got blocked through out the city.

Final rites of Bal Thackeray would be conducted at 6 pm today in the city. Maharashtra public transport system has arranged special buses to Mumbai from several parts of Maharashtra to the publicwho wish to have last look of Thackeray.

It is known that Bal Thackeray passed away on Saturday afternoon due to multiple organ failure at his residence Matoshree in Mumbai. Notably, he had been in and out of the hospital since quite sometime due to breathlessness. His death had been mourned by many VIPs including celebrities from Bollywood. Many actors have already tweeted on the sad demise of Bal Thackeray.

As a sign of condolence, all the films in Mumbai would not be screened today. Meanwhile, Maharashtra Government has beefed up tight security in and around Mumbai. At least 45,000 cops took the city under their control.

Bal Thackeray was 86 and is survived by two sons-Uddhav and Uttam. Bal Thackeray was one of the most influential leaders in Maharashtra who started his career as a cartoonist. From fourth estate, he moved down to political arena and created waves in Indian political panorama. There might have been many controversies surrounding Bal Thackeray, but for scores of Maharashtrians, Bal Thackeray is Maratha mahaveer who remains to dwell in hearts of crores.
