The Centre has confirmed the date of all party meet.  The Government of India reportedly confirmed that an all party meet to discuss Telangana issue would be held on December 28. Since Congress MP s said they would decided whether or not to take part in FDI voting until Centre gives a clear cut date on all party meeting, Centre reportedly fixed a date. The sources said that this would be apparently be a last all party meet wherein a decision on Telangana would be taken.  The sources even said that Congress MP s were happy with the decision.

Voting on Foreign Direct Investment in retail sector would be taking place this evening. Congress reportedly didn't want any of its MP s refrain from FDI voting and that could be the reason why it had to act on the demand of Congress MP s from Telangana immediately.
