FDI voting: PM, Sonia happy as Govt wins

Prime minister Manmohan Singh and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi have expressed their happiness as the Government won voting on FDI in Lok Sabha today.  It has to be mentioned here that Foreign Direct Investment enables foreign companies to invest 51 per cent of their businesses in India.

There had been so much of debate on this decision taken by the government and leader of the opposition in Lok Sabha, Sushma Swaraj moved a motion against the government decision of FDI in retail sector. And the number of MP s who said yes to Sushma Swaraj were less than those who didn't support the motion of Sushma Swaraj, which made government win FDI voting.
