The all party meeting convened by the Centre will be starting in a short while at the north block in Delhi. The eight political parties (two representatives from each party) are already present at the venue for taking part in the meeting. This meeting was predominantly aimed at bringing consensus amongst political parties or bringing an amicable solution over Telangana issue.
What would be the result of this all party meeting? This has not just been a topic puzzling you alone but scores of political analysts and observers. According to the observers, the following might be the outcome/proposals for an amicable solution.
-
Setting up special councils and bodies for Telangana region
-
Releasing additional funds to Telangana and Rayalaseema regions
-
Stressing on the political losses that each party should have to face in case a state is carved out
-
Appeasing leaders of all political parties by promising welfare of the region
The observers said that there would most likely be no point to be discussed on bifurcation as experts opined that bifurcation would not only lead to similar demands across the country but even weaken all political parties in Andhra Pradesh. Anyway, lets keep our fingers crossed to know what the final result of this all party meeting would be.
