Speaker Nadendla Manohar has reacted on the complaints made by TDP MLA Paritala Sunitha against Anantapur police for allegedly entering her home and carrying out search operation without even taking prior permission. Sunitha, widow of TDP MLA Paritala Ravindra, told the speaker that she would have at least felt okay had there been a woman constable along with the team. She and a team of TDP legislators expressed their complete dissatisfaction over the entire episode.
The speaker, who responded on this issue, ordered the superintendent of police of Anantapur district to give a detailed report over the same. It may be noted that Paritala Sri Ram, son of Sunitha, was booked in attempt to murder case for allegedly hatching a plan to eliminate Congress leader Sudhakar Reddy. The police said that based on the statements of the three persons, who were arrested with sickles and other arms, they booked cases against Ram and nine others.
