Akbaruddin Owaisi has been taken into the police custody today. He will be in the police custody for another five days after which his judicial remand continues. It may be noted that Nirmal police moved a petition seeking police custody of MIM legislator Akbaruddin Owaisi-who was arrested for sedition-for further interrogation. The district court, which heard the matter, has granted permission to the police to take Akbaruddin into their custody.

Now that Nirmal police took him into their custody, Osmania University police should wait for another five days to look forward to shift him to Hyderabad (only if court permits). It is known that Nampally Criminal Court took the cognizance of the complaint of an advocate and directed OU PS to file case against Akbaruddin. Accordingly, OU police also filed cases against MIM legislator. And they even moved prisoner in transit petition before the court.
